Job Summary:
We’re looking for some top talent to join our growing Customer Experience Team at a leading Pan-African financial institution. As one of our Contact Centre Agents, you’ll be at the forefront of customer service, dealing with a mix of phone calls, emails and chats and helping our customers every step of the way.
You’ll be the face of our company – so it’s key you’re super customer-focused, know your stuff and can handle tricky situations with ease and professionalism. Your goal will be to deliver an amazing service experience that leaves our customers feeling valued, happy and more than likely to come back for more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take and make calls, email and chat with customers – the lot. Be the one they go to for answers and help.
- Deal with customer queries, complaints and service requests and sort them out in a timely and professional way.
- When things get tough, know who to pass them onto and make sure they get sorted in no time.
- Keep on top of all interactions with customers and feed back to the team, and update our CRM system to keep everyone in the loop.
- Meet and smash your performance targets – including how quickly you respond, how well you answer and generally make our customers happy.
- Give our customers the lowdown on what we do and how we do it – so they’re always up to speed.
- Spot any opportunities to make our customers even happier and work with the team to make it happen.
- Take part in initiatives to keep improving our service and keep things fresh and exciting in the contact centre.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Degree in Marketing, Mass Comm, Business Admin or something similar is a plus.
- A good 2:2 from a reputable university is the minimum for this role.
- You’ve got to be under 30 for this one – sorry, but we like a bit of youth and energy.
- 1-3 years in a similar role – so you’ve got some experience and know what you’re doing.
- You’ve got to be able to chat up a storm, both verbally and in writing.
- We need someone with a great ear for listening and some decent problem solving skills too.
- We’re a busy team, so you’ll need to be able to work under pressure, juggle multiple tasks and keep smiling.
- Proficient in all things Microsoft Office and CRM systems, that’s a given.
- Last but not least, you’ve got to be a team player with a great attitude and a real desire to learn and grow.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: ₦150,000 per month, which is a pretty nice chunk of cash if we do say so ourselves.
- Lunch on us, every day – ₦5,000 for a daily food allowance.
