We are recruiting for the following positions:

Job Title: Health and Safety Technician

Location: Onne, Rivers
Department: Health, Safety & Environment
Duration: 12 months fixed term contract

Responsibilities

  • Conduct hazard and risk assessment with relevant teams.
  • Support the implementation, issuance and updating of company HESA procedures and prepare reports.
  • Analyze statistics, trends and action plans and propose corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and deliver HESA training programs.
  • Participate in company HESA committees and meetings.
  • Support clients and stakeholders by analyzing their requirements and implement necessary changes.
  • Use company IT tools.
  • Comply with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Protect facilities, equipment and resources from damage, theft or misuse.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Physical Science related discipline.
  • 5 years of HSE experience with in-depth knowledge of HSE laws, regulations and standards.
  • HSE ISO 14001 and 45001 audit qualifications is an advantage.
  • HSE inspections, incident investigation, emergency management, permit-to-work administration, risk assessment and HSE training.
  • Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook and SAP.
  • ISPON certification (HSE Level 1, 2, 3), NEBOSH, or IOSH certification is an added advantage.

Job Title: Engineering Student Intern (SIWES)

Location: Onne, Rivers
Department: Maintenance

Description

  • Exposure to various staff functions including operations, management perspectives and company policies that affect business operations.
  • Learn about Tenaris business, systems and processes through e-learning, classroom training, MOOCs, on-the-job training and manual operations.
  • Analyze information and prepare deliverables such as reports and processes.
  • Gain professional experience and expand professional network.* Comply with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Protect company facilities, equipment and resources from damage, theft or misuse.

Requirements

  • Engineering student at a University or Polytechnic requiring SIWES placement.
  • CGPA 3.5 and above.
